Just I read a news item - It is on Amazon forests destruction - Once a huge dense rain forest believed to be barely habitable, is today has five cities with population of over 3,00,000.  Large malls are coming up in these cities.  If this giant forest can be destroyed, who will save relatively smaller forests around the world?

Indian traditions

Indians are losing touch with our glorious past. we have forgotten our traditions, and ho allowing western culture to run  over our values, knowledge systems and ways of life.  This is the common complaint.  I think this is more true.   there are good things in western culture which can be followed.  But then there is no need to neglect our tradition and values.  Westerners still hold their tradition and value.  May be the lack of faith by the younger generation or the failure of older generation to infuse the same in their youngsters.  But the silver lining is that still there are a percentage of youngsters who follow the traditions and hold the value of Indian system.  So much, so far, so happy. I
